[31 Aug 2010] Sweden hosted a ministerial meeting on the Baltic Sea environment on 25 August. Ministers and high-ranking representatives from all the Baltic Sea states attended the seminar, "Building marine policy on best available knowledge", which was arranged by the Swedish Institute for the Marine Environment at Rosenbad in Stockholm. The meeting was the first to take place under the Swedish chairmanship of the Baltic Sea cooperation body HELCOM, the Helsinki Commission for the protection of the Baltic Marine Environment.
